safe and sound

so i'm making this first post as a trial then i'll send everyone the link. excuse my lack of capitalization- i probably won't use my english skills in this blog so i can explain all my thoughts quickly and get back to HAVING FUN. i feel like thats what i should do in Rome. anyways, dad and i got in on sunday morning, took a quick nap, then hit the city. we stumbled upon the spanish steps and had pizza for dinner (surprised?) The last few days have been full of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, the Pantheon, and Vatican City. dad liked the Trevi Fountain best- we had incredibly nice whether when we saw that tuesday morning- sunny and 52! I liked the Sistene Chapel and Vatican Museum the best. it was so much to take in, i'll have to go back. we both loved the Colosseum too. tomorrow i head to the John Felice Rome Center for orientation - we leave for Tuscany i think on Friday or Saturday. Dad leaves early for a flight in the morning. pray for him before you go to sleep because his flight is at about 4 am eastern time (10 to us) wish me luck!! miss you all
