today i had my first class- i doubt it will be that hard- the teacher is from london which is appropriate since its a fashion class and she said the most important thing is speaking up in class, doing the readings and showing up. no prob...
i finally have the room pictures up. a lot of my other pictures are ones on other peoples cameras- im gonna upload their pictures to my computer later tonight because a lot of times we did group shots on just one camera to save time- the tourguides talk SO FAST!
the church is up those stairs- the left statue at the base of the steps is an original and his sister on the right is a remake- she didnt survive the bombing
yesterdays day trip to montecassino was incredible! this monastery was way on top of this hill- which i did not like the drive but it was sooo worth it we got to sit in on the 4 pm vespers in this massive and ornate church. this monastery had been bombed during wwII so most of it was rebuilt but a lot of the underground areas were original as well as this one statue of a saint. this weekend will probably be a lot of the stuff dad and i did- many people still havent seen downtown and ill just go again because i cant see it enough really.
i have another class in an hour- im gonna go find the library i heard its pretty nice - talk to you soon
love you!
the one on the left for sure =)
