this blog will be quick because i made the pictures so big so you could see the massive amounts of people that attended easter at the vatican last sunday
the bottom picture is a group of us at BP following Rossa's sad loss to Azzuro. we had a lot of good shots, it just wasn't in the cards i guess. but the championships are this week and you can bet your bottom ill be there. this weekend was really fun. I did some exploring of streets i had not seen before, got delicious cinnamon gelato and shopped on some streets i had seen before. Jenn wanted a dress for her easter. This weekend was also a good weekend for going out at night. everyone who stayed in rome was starting to get nostalgic so we'd meet up in massive groups at the bars each night. friday night we stayed in and had our own rendition of 80's night- which is something a local chicago bar has every saturday and is a good excuse to dress crazy and dance to the best music of the century. i didnt hang at 80s night too long because a lot of people got too ready before it if you know what i mean and i wasnt in the babysitting mood. ive also been studying a lot which isnt excitign rome news- but unfortunately i still have classes that have to be passed- ugh!
this week will pretty much be non stop- i may not blog any more until im back in the states where ill try to remember to let you all know im safe and have bags. tomorrow we have a little performance by the guys floor, then wednesday is calcio as ive already stated and i also register for classes. then thursday is our end of year banquet which we all call the prom and this weekend i have a final saturday and have to soak up my last bits of the city because by next wednesday i will be packing for my early departure from school on thursday. I should be in detroit by midnight at the latest eastern time
