more to come i promise!!
ill put up more pictures when i get all jenns from her- we didnt both take pictures of certain things to save time then we just share them with my flash drive. but here's a start cuz i knew you were all anxious to hear about Florence! the trip there was an adventure in itself. the train ride we all passed out from having only slept for about an hour. we all woke up just as we were pulling into the Florence station. then we went straight to the hostel to lock our stuff up. the hostel was actually very nice for 14 euro a night. by about 1030 we were sightseeing. First we saw the David and other Michelangelo statues in Accademia. it was incredible and one of hte guys we were with got an awesome picture even though we're not supposed to- ill get it up soon, he's in egypt this weekend so i couldnt get his pictures. We also went into this basilica and the caretaker there loved us. it was cute. il duomo was my favorite tho. we climbed all the way to the top which was exhausting but worth it! soo worth it- the view was incredible and so was the walk up. by this time we were allowed to actually check in so we went back to the hostel then explored the rest of the day. we met some other jfrc kids for dinner and then went out with them which was a lot of fun. Sunday we grabbed an early train to pisa and got back to campus by dinner time. this week has been pretty uneventful. a few tests and a lot of studying. calcio wasnt as fun because my team got SO competitive so they didnt want me to play. oh well! one girl who is excellent said she would play with me sunday so that will be fun- ill learn some good moves maybe? haha doubtful
