what a busy weekend...early thursday i had my art in Rome class and we went to 3 basilicas. our test is this thursday, so if you dont hear from me its cuz im freaking out about that. then early early friday we set out for Pompei. It was perfect weather by the time we got there and soo cool. I took ton of pictures but the internet barely exists right now so i wont even try. then saturday i slept in a little bit then went downtown exploring and got some gelato at old bridge! cocco (coconut) and nutella flavored of course. it was delicious. we went out saturday night even though we were tired and met these john cabot boys who told us about a good hot dog place. we wanted to go then, but were too tired so hopefully we'll go back. sunday my friend racquel woke me up to go to the market which im so glad i went to. i finally got a watch it was 2 euro! and some adorable little black boots that were 10 euro. not too bad. now im avoiding reading my philosophy before class and doing some laundry. calcio wednesday but i am only going if i feel okay about my test the next day. this weekend a few of us are going to venice maybe even just for the day because its carnivale so hostels are more expensive but we really want to see the costumes and masks.
ill keep you updated
sorry this is a whirlwind post
love you very much
miss you
It has been over 10 years since we have been over there, but you talking about gelato makes it seem like yesterday, and by the way nutella rocks!! Your pictures from Firenza were very cool, I was not brave enough to make it to the top of the Duomo, but my wife and a friend made the trek. Enjoy your time over there, and don't study to hard, you can do that when you are back in the States...Sorry Daddio!
